Hi all! I have taken the challenge to check the inventory of my grandmother's fine china/other glassware collection! I have gotten most of the patterns and values for the pieces so far, but there have been a couple of items that have stumped me.

The Royal Albert Teacup has been dated to 1924-1930s due to the stamp, but I have not been able to find a similar pattern anywhere in my image/general google search.
The Paragon has a lot of similar patterns, but usually chrysanthemum or a different color or different saucers. Anyone know the name of the hydrangea pattern or the saucer pattern?

I still have 300 pieces to go through, so I'm sure ill ask for more help lol.

8 photos takes an eternity to open for me any rate ( do we need 8 ? )

a close up of the stamps would help

Welcome to the forum @butterbaby1 :) Lovely cups and saucers! Many times there were no actual pattern names but sometimes you can find others by using the numbers on the bottom (if there are any). I'm not sure if you saw this RA site (link below), but the lady has an excellent selection of patterns:)

Good luck on your search and hope you will post others:)

Some companies just made pretty-pretty cups and saucers for collectors, just to make life difficult.

I collect English cups and saucers.
Many, many patterns never had official names.
I've seen your Paragon set, without the gold, simply called Hydrangeas by collectors.

(Keep in mind that those are asking prices. Nevertheless, yours would have more value than those examples due to the gold interior.)

IMHO, the Royal Albert one would have minimal value, maybe $10-$15, assuming a buyer could be found.

Again IMHO, 95% of the English cups and saucers have a value of under $20 in the collecting world. But the remaining 5% can bring some surprising amounts!

Sadly, the fine bone china market is pretty well bust which means lots of my stuff is not terribly valuable, but still stuff I like. You're lucky to get $5 for a tea cup and saucer these days.

Some go for a bundle, but most are tag sale fodder.
