Featured Silver(plate) Cups

Bought these cups today

First one's Alpaca (by Lutz & Weiss), so not silver right?

2nd is by Presburg & Zoon, 925 silver, Gouda, date letter (f) seems to be for 1990

3rd (engraving with 1924) & 4th Christofle (engraving with 37),

Right. Alpacca (double c, otherwise it is an animal) is a nickel alloy.
Known across the pond as 'German silver'. Very confusing when you are trying to find genuine German silver (why do people do this?!).

any thoughts on that?

If I'm not mistaken, the Christofle mark with CC is the one they used from 1844 to 1935.
What do the other numbers mean?

"A number referring to the piece number in the production line"
"A number representing the silver content, with each digit in a separate box"
And show this example:

But one of my Christofles has just 1 boxed number, and the other one does have digits in two separate boxes, but they are on separate lines.

Here https://www.silvercollection.it/ASCASCHRISTOFLEMARKS.html they say
"In the same year (1860) another more serious change in marking the production year took place. Now instead of a lozenge-shaped box, a rectangular box was used"
Would that date the one with just the 6 to 1906? And how about the other, that has an 8 and a 67? 1908 with 67% silver content?

 

@DragonflyWink, can you tell me more about the Christofle marks? Is my interpretation of the marks correct?
