If you sell this on eBay, make sure you include the words "ugly weird pig cat".

I actually did a little jump when the image came up on my screen & my first thought was this isn't a cat it's a pig.

Interesting item. I don’t think it’s Sunderland but could be Staffordshire as suggested. My only worry is the colour inside which looks a bit fake.

I'm now very confused........... and paying way too much attention on something I'd toss off a roof....just to see if it could fly !!!!

dont think it has been any where near England....orange internal stain not normal and common to Chinese manufactured impersonators........may be wrong ,....but.seems extra large for most Sunderland pieces.....oh well let us just call it Sunderland STYLE.!!!!!

Just wrote similar comment and agree with you assessment also..but ommited the possible/ unlikely Staffordshire accreditation.

Beauty (and value) is in the eye of the beholder...

From Battie & Turner's 'Price Guide to 19th and 20th Century British Pottery' (1987):

Agreed so would I. What a ugly interesting conversation/statement piece. Just impossible to ignore.. In the twilight zone you could expect it to open it’s mouth and say something.
Maybe in a proper British accent.

None in real life for me either, did run across a couple of the cow creamers over the years...
