Featured Bakelite Bracelet? Style? Who Dunnit?

    Looks like a fence post! Any idea who would of made this? How do you test for bakelite?

    Simichrome... Rubbed on with qtip should turn yellow.

    Some swear by old formula 409.

    The spruce goes into more detail.

    But it honestly doesn't look like Bakelite. Looks more like stained bone, or alabaster.

    I don't think bakelite. Color is definitely off as well as texture. You could still test it though.

    I've had bracelets like these - I want to say some nature material, like dyed shell or something. Guess it could even be dyed bone (I see some little pitting there). Are they cool to the touch?

    I've had these made from dyed shell, but that looks bone.
