Native American Plains Chief; No Apparent Marks, Resin & Hollow

He stands ~17" tall an' weighs ~3 lbs; his bonnet feathers are ~4 3/4" wide, ~7" long. I cannot find any maker/artist ID markings, 'tho I've looked carefully. Many details suggest to me that he is tribal-specific, an' perhaps that he is an effigy of a once-living person of high stature. I would surely appreciate knowing who he represents. Your learned observations an' comments are eagerly sought, an' most welcome! More pics in my next post...Thanks for lookin'!

Possible Carny Prize (albeit nice one) or cigar store mini ? Is that plaster Whit (I assume you've scoured it for signatures/marks ?).

 

Google Lens found an identical item, 'tho very poorly painted by comparison, on a French site...marked for 22 Euros.
I've looked hard for any identifying markings, without a hint of success.
Not plaster, Bosko...it's a plastic of some sort, an' the fact that it's hollow leads me to believe it was pressure-formed in a finely detailed mold, then had the bottom added. Probably not much over 50 years old, if that, based on the material an' method of production.

We used to get hundreds of these overhere, in different sizes, different 'characters', and often a mix of cultures. I believe I first saw them in the 1980s, but they could still be around.
