    Good afternoon all,
I just bought this dresser from a thrift store today and am wondering if it is an antique or a replica of some sort. I know nothing about antiques. But it does have skeleton key type locks on every drawer. I would love any information on this beauty. On the back of the piece it has 131 and HB engraved into it. I included some photos of different details. Thank you for any input.

Actually, Lisa attached her photos in the Gallery and they need to be moved over here.

How do I do that? I keep trying to upload a file but it keeps telling me each photo is too large.

Hopefully they are showing up now. Not sure how to post them.

latches like that usually mean furniture is 1920s or earlier. They're meant less as locks than to keep the drawers from opening at random. Wheels on the feet were for moving it over so you could clean under it. Until the experts show up, I'd call it 1900-1925 and probably on the older end.

Lisa, not to worry. All new members have trouble with photographs their first few posts.

Evelyb30 hit it right on the head. You can find keys for the lock ,just take a drawer with you when you look. Its a nice sturdy piece that will last another 100 years easily.

Very early 20th century dresser with serpentine top drawers. Missing a mirror.
