Featured Right decision?

    Quite old with some minor damage to the coffee pot. Ivory insulators deteriorated. Cheap at $11.00 for the pair. Pretty sure silver plate. Correct? I did not buy.

    Brad I think you were maybe double checking this wasn't sterling or something, but hard to stop by such an old set without at least pausing! These 100+ age pieces have such nice quality, and I think at one time would have been a decent resale item. Things are so different now. Now and then the GW will put out a very nice silverplate antique, even they know not to price very high. Times have certainly changed.

    Those look like they're 140 years old and I like the design. I'd have had a hard time leaving them unless they were crazy money. But...plated for sure.
