    I am guessing either Thailand or Cambodia?

    I think Thai is a good guess. The 1973 date fits with the style too.

    The signature confuses me a bit. Can't tell if those are Western or South Asian characters.
    Usually, the Thai paintings on cloth depict Buddhist or other deities scenes, also village scenes etc. I guess this is more like modernized version of the traditional art. There is a Buddha at the upper left and other symbols but the grounds are not very clear and somewhat blurry.
    The purple and blue on the woman's face reminds me a bit of Tretchikoff pieces.

    It looks like 60s/70s Asian Mod to me; I've seen a lot of it here. The second face to me looks like the painter liked Gaughin too. Maybe it's from Bali?
