Hi everyone, I'm helping to run a fundraising rummage and was hoping to get some advice regarding this shepherd and shepherdess. If anyone recognizes the maker's mark on the bottom or has any thoughts on the value, I would appreciate it so much. Thanks!

Very sweet. However, I'm thinking home hobbyist ceramics. Or the recent ceramic studios where you paint your chosen item(s) with glazes and then it's kiln-fired and you pick it up afterwards. BP would be person who painted them.

I don't think it can be one of those studios, since the initials on the bottom are carved into the ceramic rather than painted on. It could certainly be a home hobbyist though. Thanks!

    Assuredly a home hobbyist.

    I agree with @kentworld & @johnnycb09.

These were painted by someone who definitely had talent but they were done by an individual who possibly poured their own molds. The marking might also signify that these 2 pieces were part of a set.
