Hello everyone, I am helping to run a fundraising rummage sale and was hoping to get some help identifying, dating, and valuing this platter. Google tells me F.J. Blair was a Milwaukee, WI -based importer and dealer from the mid-1800s and I was able to find this site ( https://content.wisconsinhistory.org/digital/collection/wda/id/2465/rec/1 ) which shows a similar platter and gives some information (no value, which is my biggest need, since I need to price it for sale). But since it's a different platter I don't know how much that information would help with this platter and I don't know how to tell if this is actually antique or a replica. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I'll leave this one for the Stoke-on-Trent experts to chime in on. I'd be thinking 1850s, but beyond that...no clue.

Take it off that hanger! They cause a lot of damage :(

Yes, if it's not already damaged, you should do so. As carefully as you can.

I'd take a wire cutter to what's holding it. It belongs in the trash can anyway, not on a plate.

If you’re looking at transfer printing, have a look at bat printing too.

We removed the hanger. Luckily, it doesn't appear to have done any damage. Thanks!
