    Good evening,
Bought these bits recently, the bracelet was sold as wood on 925 sterling silver, but I can see some brown seeds like inlaid in sort of a golden brown base. The “seeds” are interesting because each one has a small hole. What is this bracelet made of? It’s hallmarked 925 in each panel.
The other is a necklace that looks like cats eye, but green. I wonder what is this stone or glass called.
And the earrings are cobalt blue, very beautiful. Looks like glass, they look wonderful in the light. I wonder what is the glass called and how old.
Not an expensive lot, but some jewellery I have not seen before.
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Simona

    Love the earrings.
It is all costume jewellery and mostly (all?) contemporary, neither of which are my forte. So I wil leave this to the costume joolies.

Tagging @Lucille.b and @evelyb30 in addition to the people you tagged.:)

Hi Simona, unfortunately, these pieces are outside of my area of expertise. Hopefully others can provide the info you seek. :)

    The green is fibre optic.

    Interesting, thank you.
In my head, I alway’ve associated fibre optic with internet speed…imagine my surprise!
How old is this necklace, approximately?
I need to go an find out when fibre optic glass was developed.
Lots to read, happy days! Thank you

It’s been used in jewellery since the sixties, I think. Nice, isn’t it.

They are not hallmarked, but stamped with a fineness mark. That is done in some Asian countries.

A hallmark is a legal mark, it gives an official legal guarantee that the item is as stamped. Hallmarks are usually stamped by assayers.
Most European and North African countries have hallmarks, so an official guarantee, but many other countries don't.

I like the earrings. Almost a cobalt color. I assume glass, they look like studio, nicer glass! They are going to be hard to date, later part of the 20th century would be a guess, they seem to have some nice quality.

The green necklace has a vintage looking clasp, I'd agree with 1960s as suggested. A bit hard to see the beads exactly, I've heard similar look called satin glass, but fibre optic might be more accurate.

Sounds like you have some leads with the 925 piece. :)

Those kidney hooks are indeed about that period. Ear hooks can be replaced, but these are probably original.
I wasn't clear there, I meant marking the fineness on each panel.:shame::sorry:
