It's absolutely fantastic. Unusual it's dated and seems to be signed with initials. Definitely follow up the research. Lucky find!

Thanks everyone ! Im loving it too. I shot off an email to that link Deborah shared and I'll let yall know as soon as I hear back. It was mixed in with the lamp aisle, wich I never go down,so my 1st initial eye scan glanced at it,saw the pampas grass in it (I hate pampas grass!) and rolled on. But that flash of blue struck me so I went and looked at it. When I saw it was Vietri I plotzed ! It just spoke to me so here it sits. Ive actually spent a few hours trying everything I can think of to pin it down. Most frustrating !

Gorgeous, johnny. Love the way that blue glaze from the inside drips over the rim, calculated carelessness.
Looks Modernist, but could be later.

How interesting. But it does look a bit more sophisticated than their usual offering. Did they have any ideas about whose it might be? I did find a artist working in Vietri with the initials A.F. Let me see if I can find it again. Here... Antonio Franchini. Doesn't look like his work though.

The search continues. They said its likely from another factory in Vietri.

The Vietri Ceramics Museum may be able to help but I can't locate a web site. Perhaps someone else would have more luck.

There is the Provincial Ceramics Museum Villa Guariglia in Raito, a suburb of Vietri. They don't seem to have a website, but they host a ceramics research project called Mater Ceramica:

    https://materceramica.org/poi/museo-provinciale-della-ceramica-di-villa-guariglia/

The email address of the research project:

    materceramica@confindustriaceramica.it

The site is in Italian only, but I'm sure someone speaks English.
If you know Spanish (being of Cuban origin), you can try that too. In Italy I always spoke Spanish with the odd Italian expression thrown in.;)

Some photos of the museum on another site:
