    Please identify this tray. No have any hallmark only 81. looks like silver thank you

    How big is it? What does it weigh? The experts will probably also want better photos from a well lit area.

    I think it’s a poorly struck 84. Guessing Persian, I think you might find more marks?

    Beautiful tray, Dongo.
    I agree. Armenian silversmiths introduced the Russian 84 zolotnik mark (equivalent of .875 fineness) in Persia, but generally used it for .840 silver.
    Armenian silversmiths worked in the in the Ottoman Empire and other parts of the Middle East as well as Russia. This is probably not Armenian made, but the mark was used just the same.
