Navajo Wedding Vase and Poole Volcano vase

    Two very different pots found in the same shelf of a thrift store. The Navajo is a horse hair pot. Don't know anything about the Poole pottery vase, fist time seeing the design.

    I remember one of the British AR experts saying that Poole would be good to collect and I agree except that neither he nor I foresaw the collapse of the china/pottery prices. Poole began these vibrant wares in the 60s (mod/psychedelic) and I love the colours. Poole is still being made and is, I just learned via google, owned by Denby Pottery.     That’s a later Poole though, eighties from memory.

    Yes, I think so, too. For some reason, I liked their twin-tone series (from the 50s?) and have a couple of pink and grey bits.
