Featured Boulle box restoration, before and after + Wall

Thank you but the truth is at any point I could have irreparably ruined it as I really didn't know what I was doing (winging it lol). I was fortunate to have some of the materials from other restorations to hand that came in handy on this job. There were 2 reasons for posting this thread 1) to show off the box and what I had done and 2) it really wasn't that hard for anyone to tackle Boulle work restoration, just a case of a lot of, gluing, sanding and polishing. When I spoke with the Boulle restorer I mentioned I did antique restoration and he said "it wasn't that hard" he was right. I did the wax filling today, that was so easy it was a joke, mix beeswax with the right colour pigment until it looks the right colour on a piece of paper, pull off a small amount and place it where it needs to go then melt with a soldering iron then scrape flat. I forgot to mention, I did cut 2 pieces of straight brass to go into the lid.

I don't want to make any assumptions but if you can sand, polish and glue then it's easy.
