Featured I'll Keep the Classical Revival Dresser But I Have A Question

    Thank you for all the lovely comments regarding my flame mahogany classical revival etc. dresser. You all have helped me fall in love with this chest again!!! I could use your guidance...

    With this dresser, if the contents of a drawer brush against the bottom of the box above, sawdust marks the fabric.
    -I wiped down the boxes but that didn't solve the problem.
    -My next thought is to tack in some type of liner.

    What do you recommend to prevent this? Does this happen in other chests?

    I have an idea!
    I will tack tagboard poster paper to the underside of the rails that the drawer sits upon. It won't interfere with the slide of the drawer and it should be rigid enough to remain intact should the drawer contents brush against it.
    Problem solved!

    A nice piece, your dresser has personality . . . often absent with furniture.
