Hello community! Here I am again

I need to share this with you.
Literally three weeks of my life.

Here's a recent story. I finished this project yesterday and want to share it with you. In short, I'm always happy when I find things that can still be brought back to life. People were giving away a piano keyboard and when I came to take it, I found out that the owners of the house were moving and had left a lot of unnecessary things from their past. I told about my work, and they gave me two old cameras, one book, and a box with a bunch of old garbage (at first touch).

But after three weeks, the trash turned into eye-catching toys, dolls and dollhouse accessories. This was the simplest (technically) restoration. But due to the large amount of damage, it is one of the longest. I invite you to watch the video with the full story!

By the way, how do you feel about restoration in order to leave all traces of restoration clearly visible? When I restore for myself or just for fun, I always leave traces of restoration clearly visible. A story without embellishment.

I will be happy to read your comments on YouTube also. There are my first ever videos.

I need some really educated subscribers there, because I want to create educational content more than content for fun and time-killing. So you are all welcome!

Thanks all of community members for your time helping others. I am doing that my way and from my side

I don't have a problem with seeing the repairs. People pay a lot more money for perfect examples of things, so obvious restoration saves headaches. You give them away, but there's no telling what will happen to it 20 years from now. I've used a Brownie box camera and plenty of straight load film. I have the sewing machine too,or did. The hard plastic toys were inexpensive in their day, but the bright colors and moving parts make them popular now too.

The question you asked - we have some Dutch posters. I bet they know all about Friesland.

I watched the video, too, and enjoyed it. Loved the doll house furniture. Have to say, some of that stuff I would've put in the trash, but you did a lovely job on the dolls you were able to save.

Oh yes! That’s it! Many thanks for sharing. It is history signs, so it is not about money. Just about saving history as it is. Amazing

    Thank you!
That’s true, it was quite likely for trash. But I’ve tried to save as much as I can. For me it is most painful moment, when I broke something and need to through it away. For 24 years in business it was twice and I remember those days clearly. Not expensive stuff, but such a shame - to survive for years and be broken by myself

Ah, so it was part of your game.;)
Unfortunately I can't watch your videos, much too long for my damaged brain. Which is why I asked if I could help, but turns out you didn't need help.

Maybe someone can explain that to me next time, so I don't have to waste time asking questions in my effort to help you.

I'm sorry this was misunderstood. There was a question in the video. The fact is that I give antiques in exchange for correct answers to questions. And one of the items in this video is an old post-war atlas, I want to give this book to someone who answers the question - what the story related to the Northern Island Frisland. And why it's no longer found on modern maps.
It is a trick question, and then a discussion of it began on the forum. I apologize that this was confusing.

I'm going to give others a chance to win this time ...
.... and give them a few more days before I start answering all the questions :D

No need to apologize, Lavrentii, the confusion happened after your initial post.:) Thank you for the explanation, next time I'll know that there is no need for me to answer any questions.
Makes sense. And I would have known that too.;) But unfortunately I can't participate.
