Featured Russian vase?

    The pattern looks a bit russian to me. A bit like the pattern you see on the black lacquer kitchen utensils and other kitchen ware. Or maybe it's something completely different. 17cm tall and looks quite modern. Wheel thrown I think.

    It looks to me like there's something written/printed very faintly across the 'back', midway down..........BUT danged if I can make out what it says!!!!

    Ditto. The floral lacquer on metal is called Zhostovo painting, maybe that helps in your search.
