Featured Vintage watercolour- comments

Hi all,I don’t really have much interest in still life paintings of flowers. However this I thought was beautifully and vibrantly painted. Reverse image searched the monogram but no luck there and couldn’t figured out the signature. Any guesses to the artist name? Is this a trained artist of gifted amateur? It’s 42x52cm.

I see Traunmiller and, given the monogram, first name starts with C. Certainly a trained artist. And a very sweet image, very of its period.

I should add that the monogram was old-fashioned by the 1950s so you're likely looking for an older artist.

Definitely worthy of wall space, especially if someone in the house is a rose nut.

 

Artist name may possibly be Traumüller,and agree with Debora first name starts with C,but unfortunately unable to find your artist so far.

 

WC's a tough medium to perfect-this painters got a high skill level IMHO.

He should be a listed artist and perhaps a member of a watercolor association,like the RWS or some such.

 

Thanks. I didn’t know what the RWS was (but I know now ) I also think the person should be a listed artist.
