Good Morning Everyone! Does Anyone Recognize This Pottery and The Markings? Thank you

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. Motria Yaniuk (nee Maluca) is my mother. Yaniuk is our family name from my father's side. She is indeed the daughter of the known artist Antin Maluca. He was well known in the art community, his brother Stephan was known in the Ukrainian music community. Years ago she used to paint many varieties of ceramics, ranging from vases and pottery, to ash trays, plates, lamp bodies, you name it. she used to travel to varies Ukrainian festivals around New Jersey, down to Baltimore, and used to deliver to various Ukrainian stores in new York. She eventually stopped making the ceramics in the late 90's, though all the slip molds, kilns and half finished projects still are in her basement!

I love it when family members see and comment on items that show up here. The hiSTORY side of things is always interesting and makes one appreciate their item more (at least I think so!).

Unfortunately Ukraine is too close to a monstrous neighbor who will never stop oppressing and attempting to erase it from the political map.
