Featured art glass paperweight mark

    Hi folks

    something else i found at the boot yesterday for a squid

    seems a nice quality, has an odd embossed mark at the base

    about 3 inches

    any thoughts or info appreciated

    not sure what the mark is supposed to be of ?, they look like upside down saucepans :)

    Mark might be glass orbs still attached to the puntys?

    thanks bud, that makes more sense than saucepans :)

    would have thought an easy one to id, but finding nothing similar with that mark

    Spent 10 minutes banging my head. I'm sure one of the glassies will know it immediately when they turn up. It's such a distinctive mark... Looks Italian to me with that gold fleck

    Blenko have one too. Maybe it is supposed to depict the molten blob on the end of the blowers pipe?

    Turned on its side the mark resembles a lowercase 'e'.

    The weight itself has echoes of Isle of Wight and also Richard Golding. I’m still thinking.
