Looks like a Colonial Holy Family. If you do a Google Images search, a lot of similars from the Cusco (Peru) school will come up. Yours is likely a souvenir.

I like the skeevy look on the "baby's" face. Wouldn't be my first choice to hang in my house though, or even close.

 

"Over half century" is only 1975. Any one in the family take a trip to South America?

LGBT community. I have no idea how that has anything to do with the painting, or who would purchase it..

 

It was my attempt at humour in reference to the painting coming out of the closet after 50yrs. Hey Mike why have you only listed LGBT your excluding important member's of that community its LGBTQIA2S+ FYI, not very inclusive! That's why i use alphabet community is easier to remember and its more inclusive.

 

I sometimes like the off-beat and unusual things to a certain degree. But to me this painting is just weird and borderline somewhat disturbing (fat body,small head,man baby face) Put it back in the closet!
