Cast Iron Wall Clock Maker ?

A long shot but some of you good people might recognise the clock , it has no markings apart from Made in England .I’m not confident enough to try and remove the face so thought I would try yourselves.It’s mechanical working fine cast iron body with aliminium around the clock face any pointers would be appreciated.There is similar ones that are coming up on searches often , Gents of Leicester .

Hi it’s 9 inches the back of the clock is blank nothing written just the Made in England on the face.

 

It looked like a Smiths clock, I'm sure this is of the same type and maker. I really like the clock, good buy.

Thank you for the replies I saw the Smiths clock from the above link and the face and hands are identical with have a good look thanks for all the replies much appreciated.

 

Possibly a Smiths Empire clock the same as mine but no name on the enamel dial , I’ve no idea why that would be .
