I couldn't legally make one these days but I don't think it would be that hard, I just wonder how many of those are being faked? 1) and old tea wooden tea caddy with lock and handle 2) piano keys 3) a old Indian Tortoiseshell large box 4) a few Indian ivory edged boxes. A jewellers saw, sandpaper and some hide glue. They all look in remarkably good condition for their age ;)

I only know there are reproductions ( though still qualified as antique) of Georgian tea caddies with shell or fan inlays. These harlequin caddies (and other ivory and tortoiseshell tea caddies as well) are barely seen in today's online auction platform though, if people are faking them they should come up more often?
