Cups n saucers quite old I think

    We are charged fortunes to have void flats emptied at work. It's the same across the board. Landfill is really expensive nowadays.

    £140 per tonne for general waste, £50 for wood.
    Any metals are scrapped so I get an income from that.
    Its all costed into the job though.

    @daveydempsey it sounds physically like it could beat you up-do you come close to making decent construction worker wages doing it ?
    I guess like any contracting job a lot depends on how good a bidder you are (& how much yr Subs cost).
    PS-As always,when it comes to money/wage questions-feel free not to answer.

    Bear in my different comercial waste plants charge different prices, the one I use is pretty good and cash helps:rolleyes:

    I feel like I wandered into the Twilight Zone. First post is a period, can't see an RCD mark, photos of cups and saucers, quite old, almost at the end of page one and then a discussion of tipping fees at dumps/landfills. :smuggrin::facepalm::smuggrin:
