Posting these on the jewelry board....sorting the wheat from the chaff. Tests as jadeite on the Presidium, surprise.

No idea what that is. Jade can show up that white, but wouldn't have costume findings unless it's a restring by someone with no clue.

I just wish someone hadn't taken off the screwbacks. Now I have to find more and put them back so I can wear them.

The stringing is straight 80s as they sit, and if they're old beads I think someone found them in a warehouse and figured they needed using. I have some mid-80s white "no they're not jade" beads here too that my dad bought me. These could be that same simulant.

Check the stick too; sometimes the bow is where the money is.

One of my finds today... a 120 straight-load camera for $3. Zeiss Ikon lens, only produced for one year. I didn't know what it was totally when I grabbed it , but the darned thing was only made for one year - 1937/38. Straight load though...I was at a rummage sale and don't know how the others went past it.

I don't think it's a giant score, but pushing 90 years old, Zeiss lens and three bucks..no brainer.

I went to work on my booth, and didn't expect to find anything in the thrifts on a Saturday. But I did.
This is on the jewelry board, the small beads are amber.

Better things. A shop I hit 15 minutes to closing just put jewelry out. All $3 on the one plate, all sterling but the gold-filled pearl flowers. Cross $10, sterling.
Satya sterling earrings (going nowhere) the priciest at $15. GF cameo set $10.

One more, posted on the jewelry board for help. $4.80 with my discount....I figured carnelian, but it tests high in the jadeite category...small smooth dark stone test as tourmaline, I am sure the clasp was replaced.
