Blue Pottery Swan Planter - Kiln Marks & Partial Foil Label

    Does anyone know what this partial silver foil label on this blue pottery/ceramic swan planter said? Looks to have a poppy flower on it and a few letters that might be reading California. Has kiln marks that remind me of Haeger. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    the eBay listing doesn't know either.....

    looks like a copy of some blue mountain pottery swan....... ??

    I think you are probably on the right track with California. I searched my references but can't come up with that combination of letters. There are two groups on Facebook that might recognize it. One is called California Pottery and Tile and the other is just titled California Potteries. Someone on these sites might be able to help.

    WOODWARD
    CALIFORNIA
    but I can't find a California pottery company with that name.

    Here is a photo of a foil label on a Hollywood Ware - hollywood ware california foil label rose poppy calla lily white vase California Products Inc.jpg California Art Products, Inc white calla lily vase. It is a different label but has the same rose bud & poppy as on my swan planter. What do you think? Is the swan California Art Products?
