It rained three days straight here, so I did some thrifting and antiquing.
This was $4- looked them up, they are pricey.

Thrift shop jewelry. The pearls have a 14k clasp. Most $1-$3.

Sterling and faceted quartz ring. Seems to be platineve or rhodium-plated. Some ding-dong decided to acid test it on the side.

^5 on the Chinese export silver. It's getting harder and harder to find, and priced up when you do.

Found the first tag sale in this area for this year. It was a serial tagsale house so I almost skipped it. Didn't buy much, but did beat Bear or the local equivalent to it. Whiting & Davis enameled mesh purse. $15. Snowman tabletop blow mold, $5. The latter is going right to a local antique dealer, because he wants them. Took pictures and now need to upload them. Of the purse anyway.

Oh @Ownedbybear ! I didn't buy much today, but I nobbled this before anyone else could come along. Signed Whiting & Davis. It's got some wear, but it has to be 90.

Hubby and I dropped off donations to our favorite cat rescue thrift shop. There is a new volunteer there pricing everything through the roof. When I took this to the counter, she couldn't stop eyeballing it. $3, stainless steel, I didn't realize how much they go for. The copper-mix zodiac cuff was $3.99 from a church thrift.

Church thrift items. The rhinestone necklace's stones are all pronged in. The chain is sterling. The bolos have genuine stones, $3.99 each, for my nephew.

Not the typical africa ‘tourist thing’ knobkerry I usually see. This looks to have some age. A section of buck skin has been attached at the top end. I think it’s a Zulu club and 53cm in length.

Nothing antique today but nice Radley bag for a tenner from preloved handbag sale. The Prada bag wasn’t, so it’s been cut up and placed in the bin, took a chance at £2 but the lettering is all wrong.
Charity shop ring, I was assured it wasn’t silver hence the £3 price.

Possibly couldn't read it - or didn't see it. They were looking for marks inside the ring, where modern ones are marked. Is that an intaglio on top?

No intaglio, just very busy inside. Haven’t put a black light on it yet but it is picking up lint.

The person seemed fairly savvy, she pointed out all the silver necklaces she had in the cabinet but I think in this case was just unobservant and not looking on the outside back of the ring.
