This came with my lot mentioned in previous post. my best interpretation of the new sticker on bottom is,
北宋惠州窑酱轴塔式纹灯. Which Google translated into, ”Northern Song Dynasty Huizhou Kiln Sauce Axis Tower Pattern Lamp”. At just over 10”H and no plumbing, I have ruled out a 5 tier chocolate fountain. ;)

Sauce, lamp????(thanks google translate). I am seeing a candlestick but even that is odd. Well made and heavy. Beautiful glaze. Image with camera is for perspective. Aside from a one tier somethingamajiger online, I can not find any thing similar at all. Has anyone seen this before. Any thoughts on age? *rushing to store for dark chocolate, to correctly answer this question.* ;)

a bit heavy and the cup shape top wouldn’t serve its purpose. Well unless they wanted a very heavy bird feeder up there. :) :hilarious:

Thank you for looking AJ :)

Hard to tell the volume of the upper bowl from the pics, but perhaps simply an open oil lamp for a floating wick?

The bowl looks too rounded to hold a candle.
