Love the altar table.:) I wish my room mates had left me stuff like this.

The display cabinet has a Japanese gent on the lacquer panel, so I assume it is Japanese, albeit in a Chinese inspired style.

I’m no expert in Chinese furniture, but I’ll take a stab at the second one.

I’d characterize this as an etagere. I see some western influence here, specifically in the shape of the crest. This shape - and the level of execution in the carving within it-was often found in aesthetic movement pieces. I would therefore date it at ca. 1880s to 1910s, with an earlier date more likely. A beautiful piece!

Look to be nicer than average pieces with a bit of age. I don't think they are antique but would not be surprised to find they are 60-80 years old. The cabinet may be a bit older than the table. I wonder if the cabinet is missing a base, either a base with feet or legs or some kind of cabinet. Maybe something like this.....

Sugar-Take some straight-on pics of yr 2 pieces/run them thru Google Lens (you should get plenty of similar pieces for sale /sold). Add up all the pieces (sold ) & just divide total $ amnt by that number-this gives you an average selling price.
    Wood type-
1.Take a hi-quality closeup pic of the wood (grain, etc) & share here w/ our wood experts.
2.Take the pieces to an established Asian antique shop, they'll prob know the wood. This is easier if it disassembles.Good luck !

I see a sound lower in the crest of the etagere; I’m more convinced now that this is aesthetic movement, since that was one of their principal motifs. So I’d say it’s easily more than 100 years old.
