Fluid art with signature

Hi all.

Would this be considered fluid art and does anyone have any sugestions as to what the signature might be?It is a large enough painting which has been framed recently enough i would say, in southern Ireland.

Difficult sig -- Gan, Jan, Garr or Jarr?

I'd never heard of fluid art... did just read a description of the technique, but don't know whether this is it. Hope somebody else does!

 

I read gan, possibly gau.

There is a Darlene Garr bases in Co. Kilkenny which is sothern Ireland that shows up on google with some of her work similar in style.I wonder if it could be her.

Yea on her website some of her work looks similar in style alright.
There are slight variations of her signature on paintings on her website.Here is a a picture of signature of one of the paintings under Abstract expressions titled "The result" on her website and i think it l it looks similar?

Yes, that one looks very similar to the sig on yours.

 

Was looking through the artists website and hey presto.In the Press section theres an article for an Exhibition in Brussels and there is im sure my painting bottom right of the article.Would love to know what article says thi.its not in English.

 

You should be able to run it through Google Translate for a rough idea. Here. Did it for you. And what a coincidence that you found your work on-line.

Yea was good to come across it on the artists website alright.At least i know for sure who the artist is now anyway.Wasnt 100% sure at first as her signatures are slightly different on some other works.Maybe the artist will reply to my message and she might even have a title for the work.

Now i know for sure its great to be able to read about an artist and their story and look at their other work .Might not be everyones cup of tea but i can appreciate it more now knowing the artist.
