Can this ceramic dinner plate be called an antique?

I recently bought a few dinner plates and then an idea came to me. Can such a simple plate still be called an antique after being stored for a long time? Although it doesn’t have fancy patterns, much of our lives now focus on pragmatism. So, can this dinner plate still be called an antique in 100 years?

Sure can...... if u can show that the plate is 100 years old.....it's a valid antique.
Plates that are not marked in anyway....those can be more difficult to prove they've been around....used or unused , for that 100 years.

An antique is a testimony to the time it was made in. That is the same if it was used or if it was stored for 100 years.
If you like, you could gather as much information you can find about your plates, and keep that with the plates, so in 100 yrs time people will know what they are and appreciate them even more.
