Help with Makers mark on brooch

    Hi,

    Can anyone recognize this makers mark? To me it looks like a flower with a drooping flower head?? It's on a brooch of a leopard (black with gold spots).

    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Best I could do with only a 4kb image.........and all I see is either a lion's head or monkey's head, BUT COULD ALSO be a Distortion!! Looks like there's writing around the outer edge of the oval too.......

    Photographs of the closure are helpful for dating which, in turn, is helpful for identifying maker.
