Featured Little piggy bank recently found

    Won this on ebay auction, don't collect pottery but find it lovely at a lovely cost (less than £3 plus £4 shipping). Search on Google, told it's antique Austrian 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg

    would think more likely british creamware with a whieldon glaze

    old as well

    maybe like early 19th

    It's definitely on the high end. I'd think more like another sellers $50, but you never can tell.

    no i thought the same, but the ebay seller seems to specialize in yellow ware or cream ware, so obviuosly knows what hes talking about ;)

    Yeah I checked the sold listing and it's mostly 40~50. Still a great deal for mine!

    Roseville Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio made a quite similar bank circa early 20th c.

    My mother collected these piggy banks. Some where I have one very similar to yours around here somewhere. This one I knew where - What I like is the tag my mother taped to the bottom. My mother did not trust us to know . It is a joke in our family. When you buy something good we all say "It has value"! pig1.jpg p2.jpg
