Great illustration, reminiscent of Neal Adams. The cereal box tie-ins are also a blast and can be very lucrative.

Thanks. There is a pair of 14k Levian tanzanite and diamond earrings I keep thinking about for $200....he has a lot or reasonably-priced jewelry.

I love it all, especially the box and the ring. A pearl and ruby princess ring!!
I have several Thai princess rings. Sometimes they tarnish or darken, maybe due to the alloys or the solder that was used. Occasionally, the karat marks aren't accurate either.. No wonder they thought it was silver.

It may not be 14k....I will have the jeweler check that out. The seller said he tested it at 9k, but....he isn't all that up on jewelry. But still, for $45, I had to grab it.

9K may not be wrong. And the box...yum, yum.

I went to the Ill Will today and spent $5 on colored pencils for donation later this year. The ReStore was closed for Good Friday, so the local job lot store got $40 for stuff I had to buy anyway. Then I kibbitzed a bit with the ladies in the blood draw office. No line at all. I figured it was an apt day for it.

I am redecorating a bit, just accessory things, had some returns I did today. I got great couch pillows, a set for $19.99, at Burlington Coat Factory, but the store was torture. The schools are closed in our district, the spring breaks started today. Kids were screaming, running through the racks and the store and running up and down the aisles with shopping carts. Then I got to the parking lot and somebody's car alarm would not shut off. Just a bit of sensory overload today.

I don't do Burlington. Ocean State Job lot is a regional chain and they tend to collect a much happier crowd. Even the people working there are having a good time.

Two old, potential antique and if not, close to it, Navajo weavings, but with 'condition issues'.... $50 each.

    36" x 52"

    A little 2.5" Acoma pot. $1

And I just posted this over in the Pottery forum, but here's a large 14" tall 'Ozark Roadside Tourist' jar. It also has condition issues. In fact, I'm gonna change my antiquers tagline to 'condition issues.' $14

Nice pottery! Green vases are, indeed, McCoy. Big Ozark tourist pieces can bring good money.
