Small Toby Jug, Mark & Age

    I took another look at the mark tihs morning, and now I think it's GB.
    Simply for 'Great Britain'?

    I don't think it is antique as many repros and imitations of toby jugs have been made over the years. Maybe mid-20th c?

    Does not look professionally painted so I image those initials are the amateur who did it.

    Some cheap British tobys aren’t exactly well done!

    My thought was Japanese, I think the eyes are a clue.

    Thank you all for your help!
    I did find a few Japanese Toby jugs with similar eyes, but some Devonmoor versions have a somewhat Chinese look,

    so I wasn't sure if it would indeed be Japanese.
