Featured Help Identify Green Opaline? French Decanter

    Looking to help ID and date this recent find. It measures just under 14.5" tall.

    What does it say on the bottom?

    It's marked France on the bottom and the numbers are 1079.

    That font reminds me of some Durand pieces.

    Can’t help with ID but you may have scored. Some of these colored glass decanters are quite valuable. I sold a rare jadeite decanter for like $500-$600 once.

    I was thinking possibly Portieux. Didn’t find yours but this one looks somewhat, kind of, a little similar in style. They usually just put stickers on their work I think, so no mark other than “France” would jive with that. 0990F66F-0908-45F7-AD2B-E12FD5E32601.jpeg

    I’ve not seen Portieux with a moulded mark.

    Not that I’ve handled much of it but from what I have I have not seen a molded mark either.
