Featured Help identify if these chairs I can’t make heads or tails of it!!!

Im in the process of purchasing a table set and I believe they are antique Chinese chairs the table seems like it’s just whatever but I want to know if those chairs are actually vintage Chinese and the hopefully what they’re valued at I don’t wanna over pay thank u guys

 

Not a clue, except that they're older than the table. They don't look Antique with a capital A, but I'm not a furniture expert.

 

I can't see enuf of your chairs....... to say they are Chinese rosewood , or what period.....

What are they asking you for the pair ?

Its so hard to tell without pics of the joins,etc BUT Im going to guess they are 1920s or so.$200 is a lot,especially since that table is nothing much.That being said,why not use them if you buy them? Thats what they are for and you wont be ruining some 18th century court chair!

 

The chairs immediately reminded me of an verifiably antique (more than 100- year-old) rosewood table that has been handed down in my family. Please pardon the dust!

 

It's cheaper than buying new hardwood chairs, by a lot, but if you're buying for resale at $200 it's a hard pass for me. People here have a tough time selling dining chairs at any price.
