Here is a pic of some pink milk glass pieces my husband spotted somewhere and brought home. I’ve seen similar pieces online labeled Fenton and also Fostoria. Not sure if these are two totally different brands or if one is a brand and the other is a pattern… I am clueless as I know nothing about antiques. I have three more pieces in a different pattern too.

The notification refers to the full version of your 2nd photo in Bronwen's reply. When someone only posts the thumbnail version, others often post the full version, to avoid having to click on thumbnails to see the photo.

both sets are Fostoria c1950s; think Fostoria called this color 'peach'
the grape motif is #2713 'Vintage'
diamond motif is #2711 'Diamond Sunburst'

Looks pink in your photos, so not milk glass?

Part of the confusion regarding the color name on these may be the reference books. Kerr's Fostoria book identifies the color for both Vintage and Diamond Sunburst as "Handmade Milk Glass". I'm not sure if this was Fostoria's term or Kerr's. If Fostoria's, it may have been an attempt to piggyback on the success of white milk glass which was so popular in the 1950's and 1960's although they must have broken it down by white, pink, (and aqua) in their catalogs. I agree that the term pink milk glass doesn't make a lot of sense but it seems to have entered common usage by sellers and collectors.

White, pink and aqua: that sounds like milk, strawberry milk, and spoiled milk?
