This art deco motif box is a little beaten up but was only $2.00.

This Mexican sterling and copper cuff bracelet was $1.60.

This Rhein-Preussen bottle was $3.00. There are many found on the internet with no consensus about what they really are. Often listed as Victorian, I am not so sure. Some say for wine, others for gin, and some say mineral water.

This framed Santa Fe Railroad print was $2.00. Think it is probably from a calendar.

Probably my best thrift store find in awhile.... all for $7.00. Hand done large copper repousse Tray with matching vessels (?). Not sure what the 2 are for. They are different sizes but both have the same depth (the bottom is soldered part way up from the actual bottom). Each piece is signed A.C. in Monogram form but the letters are only 3/8" high so not intended to be a monogram. I think probably by a talented amateur.

This last find is not from the thrift store. Bought from a dealer/friend for $35.00. Nicely carved art deco bust, about 12" high. Bold carved signature on the bottom, Lowry. I have not been able to attribute this but think it speaks for itself.

Genever, rather than gin. Absolutely typical shape.

Some Portuguese wine is sold in stoneware bottles, still.

Thanks for the info on the bottle. Looks like it might have some age. Had to look up genever. Have never seen it here in the States.

Different ones. Sometimes hit 2 to 4 a day, 4 or 5 days a week. Drive out of town occasionally for a change of pace.

Three recent jewellery finds. The red glass bead & metal necklace was found at a car boot sale for £1. The blue glass bead necklace was a local charity shop find at just £2. The bangle was bought from Ebay because I just loved the style and colour - now wondering if it could be Bakelite.
