    Hi, Folks-
It's a pretty but cool early spring day in western Pennsylvania. Hope the sun i shining where you are. Can anyone give me information on this large, Chinese (we think) watercolor (we think)? The frame measures 34" by 22". There is some wrinkling in the paper. Any information and opinions are very welcome. Thanks. The inscription says that the painting is "in imitation of the style of Wu Jingting" and was painted in the summer of 1980. Wu Jingting (1902-1972) was a famous Chinese artist whose works are sold by Sotheby's. (You could Google 吳鏡汀畫 [paintings of Wu Jingting]) and see many examples.) I cannot tell who the actual artist was. Still a lovely painting.

A volunteer on the Asian art Forum confirms your translation and adds that the artist whose name is in the seal has the surname Pan. I'll post if anyone on that forum chimes in.
