    Thought you guys might appreciate this, I've had it pretty much my whole life. Would love to know who the manufacturer was!

    Weird but lovely, and great that the shades are still in one piece. Well, two pieces, to be correct.;)
    No clues on or around the base?

    Sadly, no. She had this one, and another kind that had what looked like had glass spun around the bulbs like a yarn. It was really neat. I think that one got broken, though.

    Looks to be in really good shape. Usually the brass finish goes and the wood finish starts flaking. The wood can be refinished, but I don't know that there's much can be done when the brass goes.

    The yarn-like one was probably spun fiberglass, aka spaghetti fiberglass.

    That is seriously stylish. I used to hate MCM but I guess we dont take things we grew up with seriously.
