Crystal Rose bow with E Logo

Hi,

I was hoping someone would be able to help identify a glass logo for me.

It is a what I believe to be crystal glass rose bowl

 

It’s the Queens award for industry, Export Achievement. Always helpful to show the whole item if you can.

Nice rose bowl. Strange no makers mark there anywhere?
Could be a gift to another company I suppose who got the award in that year.

 

There’s National Archives you can look through to see which company /companies got an award in that year.

 

No marks at all other than the one posted. I will take a look thank you.

 

When the company I worked for was awarded one it was just rectangular cube of glass plus the engraving. It also went broke the following year.

 

Some companies gave similar to employees as commemoratives of the award. It could be any one of many commercial cutters. Nazeing, Watford, Whitefriars, and many more.
