I felt compelled to save it

    I think my husband is wishing I hadn't! LoL

    We have a very vintage Stoltz-Schmitt dresser that's pretty rough.     Can anyone give me insight, encouragement or an admonishment for wasting my time in picking it up?

    I always pick up anything made from wood. If I can't make it useful I knock it apart for free wood - but I'm a woodworker :happy:

    Looks like it won't take too much work. Agree with the above votes for how the hardware should hang. You'll note that, if hanging the other way, the decorative side of the bail is not visible.
