I've got a little plaque that's similar to yours, but not the same quality. It was in with my collection of costume brooches -- I bought some porcelain brooches off ebay way back when. I'll get 'em out again and make a separate post later. I would've bought these in a heart beat and not tell my family. (They want me to sell/pass on/thrift my stuff now. )

the little bird one set in a brooch would be gorgeous, so might hang on to it with that in mind

 

Wouldnt it be more like a Jimll fix it badge than a brooch, given the size?

 

not inordinately large for a brooch, but definitely large

 

had a go at repairing the chipped one, getting the right colour mix was the hardest part, not perfect by any means
