    I found it!!!!

I decided to go through a group of trade cards again today, ones I had separated because I was still researching them, or I thought they might be worth something.
The card was stuck in the same sleeve as that Providence Union/Christian Endeavor card I posted here a while ago.

I've now put it in its own sleeve, and stapled the sleeve to a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" card stock. I'm going to put it in the big box of listed ephemera items.

I guess I'll relist it tonight.

Should I put in a brief explanation why I pulled the last auction, or least said soonest mended?

Thanks for everyone's support and reassurance that I'm not the only one who does things like this.

Thanks komo. I think it's better to tell them I lost it rather than let let them think something "off" was going on behind the scenes.

let them think whatever......as long as you get out in front of it.....it'll become a non issue.........and bids will follow !!!

    good luck !!!

    I'm so happy for you!!!

I've never worried about a relist auction from someone who's clearly a dealer of vintage/antique items. I just assume a buyer fell through (on bay or off-site since so many have booths or other site listings), it got misplaced, they went on vacay/moved, etc. I'm only really going to worry if it's someone that deals in shadier stuff like electronics, new jewelery, etc. I do appreciate a seller who gives a personal touch to a listing though...makes them human. So many listings have zero info now, let alone personalized descriptions that let you know there's a person and not a bot there.

Post a link here to the item when it's up, if the link is different than the previous one.
