Featured who is this bust from?

    A priest - either Catholic or Anglican.

    if the collar is open in the front......is it still a religious leader ?
    I though the collar opens in the back..

    hunt is in the Netherlands, so a Catholic priest.:) I'm not sure we have any Anglican priests here.
    Yours is much later and not nearly as valuable. There is no cultural relationship between those busts and this one.

    Overhere Catholic priests started to dress like that, without a cassock and in a regular jacket, in the mid 60s. So this would be mid 60s at the earliest, but probably at least 10 years later, given the hairstyle.
    It is a private piece, probably made or commissioned by a grateful parishioner or for a jubilee or retirement.
    Interesting for those who know/knew the man and are willing to pay something for it. It is well made and he looks like a nice guy, but I don't know if that is enough.
