Stone dog

    Is anyone able to identify what type of stone this pooch is made from please? Maybe onyx or jade perhaps? It's 7cm long.

    Looks like onyx. Lots of these small figurines come from México but that shape doesn't look particularly Mexican.

    Onyx or travertine. Cute little doggie meant to be collected and sit on a shelf. I think it's supposed to be a cocker spaniel.

    Not heard of travertine. I'll look it up thanks. I'd say defo a spaniel too.
