Need some help identifying this blade

Hi guys!
It's been a while since I've been on here. Unfortunately life happens and things get in the way but heck I'm back. So I was cleaning out my attic and I found thus blade. I don't know what the correct name of this is whether it's a dagger or a knife. Anyways I'm looking for help in identifying if anyone knows what the stampings mean and what possible year it is from. Or if it is American ot German. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If better pictures are needed please let me know. Thanks again

Probably WWI. Markings on the blade itself might tell you more.

the scabbard is nice and all.....but where's the thing with the sharp edge ???

The 'Blade Forum' professor-sadly as usual when I do a search here to provide Lando a link,had no luck ! Pretty much always happens to me when I look for an old thread here (don't have the knack-same with crackin' the 'Coin Talk' site).

It's not that type of Search......it's more focused...

try using a few keywords....... blades-knife-keris stuff like that......
& since u know it's my thread....... use my name.....in the member box...
and don't search just titles
also...use the date box to go back far enuf , if you'r not sure how long ago the thread was posted..
