    Hi all,
Found this yesterday and looking for some ideas.

The only thing that reliably shows up in Google Images is a Fostoria optic panel footed pitcher. And there are *a lot* of similarities. However, there are also a few differences. First, the one I purchased has more of a stem between the body and the foot. Second, the height of the #Fostoria 5000 (the largest of the pitchers) is between 9 and 10 inches. My pitcher is 11 inches and the top edge opposite the spout curves back inward rather than continuing to flare outward. Third, the handle of the Fostoria pitchers is slightly flattened at the top where the handle of mine is curved. And finally, I cannot find the etched pattern anywhere on my pitcher anywhere.

The first picture is of the standard Fostoria 5000 pitcher.

    Thanks for any assistance.

Thank you so very much. Does not seem to be much info, just a few pieces of glassware here and there. But it does make some sense, if I'm assuming it's Italian optic glass. And it's not difficult to imagine a company disappearing at the beginning of the Great Depression in Italy. In any case, the age (1931) seems about right.
